By order of Sheriff Darren Weekly, Stage 2 Fire Restrictions are in place for unincorporated areas of Douglas County. Ordinance No. O-012-004 restricts open burning, the use of fireworks, portable fireplaces/fire pits and campfires in the unincorporated areas of Douglas County.
WHEN WILL ELECTION RESULTS BE FINAL? There is a statutory eight-day period following Election Day to allow for electors to cure a signature discrepancy or missing signature; to provide missing ID for a mail or provisional ballot; and for ballots cast by military and overseas citizens to be received. Ballot tabulation is not complete until this eight-day period is over. Counties must report complete results to the Secretary of State by the 10th day after Election Day. Results are not official until the Board of Canvass certifies them by the 22nd day after Election Day.

23 Ballot Drop Box locations across Douglas County will be open for the June 30, 2026, Primary Election. Each secure Ballot Drop Box location is under 24-hour video surveillance.
Four Voter Service and Polling Center (VSPC) locations will be open to provide in-person voter services for the June 30, 2026, Primary Election.
