Electronics Recycling

Douglas County’s Electronics Recycling program provides residents with a convenient and environmentally responsible way to dispose of unwanted electronics. From computers and televisions to printers, cables, and other electronic devices, the program helps keep hazardous materials out of landfills while ensuring valuable components are properly recycled and reused. Reservations are required. Please use the link below to reserve your spot.

All GreenWorks services are located at 5675 Delva Way, Sedalia, CO (next to Core Electric and the Sedalia Landfill).

Monday: 8:00 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Tuesday: 8:00 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Wednesday: 8:00 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Thursday: 8:00 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Friday: 8:00 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Saturday: 8:00 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Sunday: Closed

Please note that the last available appointment is at 4:30 p.m. so that the facility can close on time and staff has time to organize drop-offs at the end of the day.

Broken or exposed cathode ray tube (CRT) glass
Items that contain Freon (mini-refrigerator, wine refrigerator)
Items containing liquid mercury (Thermostats, fire detectors, carbon monoxide detectors, etc)
Light bulbs of any kind
Poly-chlorinated biphenyl ballasts (PBC) found in fluorescent light fixtures

This service is for Douglas County residents only. Bring your ID or other proof of residency.
Materials must be dropped off during staffed hours.

Outcomes of Previous E-recycling Events:

2025 – 5,981 residents dropped of 579,907 pounds of electronics.
2024 – 5,181 residents dropped of 557,057 pounds of electronics.
2023 – 3,906 residents dropped of 464,828 pounds of electronics.
2022 – 3,118 vehicles dropped off 359,874 pounds of electronics
2021 – 3,113 resident drop offs for a total of 394,958 pounds
Aug. 2020 – 268,346 pounds of electronics were received. Douglas County Search and Rescue and Douglas County Community Safety Volunteers will share $14,300 in donations.
July 2020 – 246,000 pounds (123 tons) of electronics were received filling eighteen 52′ trailers. Douglas County Search and Rescue received $18,000 in donations.
June 2020 – 189,225 pounds (94.61 tons) of electronics were received filling thirteen 52’ trailers. Douglas County Search and Rescue received $8,600 in donations.
2019 – 275,823 pounds (137.91 tons) of electronics were received.
2018 – 180,000 pounds (90 tons) of electronics were received.
