Douglas County offices closed for upcoming 2025 winter holidays

In observance of Christmas, all Douglas County offices will close at noon on Wednesday, Dec. 24, and will be closed for the entire day on Thursday, Dec. 25, 2025. Offices will reopen at 8 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 26, for normal business.

Offices will be closed on Thursday, Jan. 1, 2026, in observance of New Year’s Day and reopen at 8 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 2, for normal business.

Many County services are available 24/7 by visiting online services. License plate renewal is available online or at kiosks located throughout the County and state.

If you use Link on Demand services, please note adjusted holiday hours. Link service will operate during regularly scheduled hours of 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 24. Link will be closed on Christmas Day.
