Douglas County is election-ready in 2026. Are you?

Check your voter status and find a ballot drop box near you for the June Primary Election

If you are an eligible voter in Douglas County, follow this checklist to make sure you are election-ready for the June 30, 2026, Primary Election. Ballots will be mailed beginning on June 8.

  1. Check your voter registration/register to vote. Visit Colorado’s secure, statewide voter registration database, GoVoteColorado.gov, to register to vote, check your voter registration status, select your political affiliation, or update your mailing address. If your mailing address has changed since you last voted in a Douglas County election, be certain to update it now to ensure you receive your mail ballot and other important election information.
  2. Track your mail ballot. Visit DouglasCOVotes.gov to sign up for phone, text, or email notifications from BallotTrax to watch your ballot from the time it’s mailed to you to when it’s accepted at Douglas County Elections.
  3. Locate your closest Ballot Drop Box or Voter Service and Polling Center (VSPC). Twenty-three secure and convenient ballot drop boxes will be open 24 hours a day beginning June 8, 2026, through 7 p.m. on Election Day, June 30, 2026. For those who need in-person voter assistance, three VSPC locations will open on June 22. Visit a VSPC to register to vote or update your voter registration, replace a ballot, drop off your voted ballot, vote in person, or use an ADA-accessible voting machine, until 7 p.m. on Election Day.
  4.
