Project Update

Updated April 21, 2026

The design team is finalizing the structural design of the signs and continues to work with CDOT on permitting.  The northern sign is expected to be under construction in 2026, pending final CDOT approval.  The southern sign will follow, also pending CDOT approval.

Description

The County has engaged with a consulting team to design and build monument signs at the north and south ends of the county along I-25.  The signs will be large, visually striking structures designed to create a strong sense of arrival and identity.  They will incorporate landscaping and lighting to reinforce community branding.
