Construction continues on East Highlands Ranch Parkway.
Construction hours are Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Expect construction noise from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. for saw cutting operations.
Please read the update below for expected construction impacts and anticipated delays. Before you hit the road, check your mapping applications for current travel times and give yourself plenty of extra time to get to your destination.
Week of July 26, 2026 – Westbound traffic on Highlands Ranch Parkway remains shifted into the eastbound lanes of Highlands Ranch Parkway so crews can continue the construction of the westbound lanes including the new ADA curb ramps, curb and gutter, sidewalk and pavement at the Ridgeglen Way and Burntwood Way intersections.
Drivers should expect single-lane traffic in both directions between Broadway and Burntwood Way due to construction. Please plan for delays of up to 15 minutes and use alternate routes, when possible.
Upcoming Traffic Shift
Great news! Crews have made tremendous progress on the project and will soon be ready to begin the next phase of construction.
Beginning at 7 p.m., Sunday, Aug. 2, motorists can expect construction for the next major traffic shift on the project to begin. By 7 a.m., Monday, Aug. 3, traffic will be shifted into the newly paved westbound lanes of Highlands Ranch Parkway so crews can reconstruct the existing eastbound lanes. Expect increased construction noise and traffic control overnight on Aug. 2 for this shift to safely occur.
One lane of traffic in each direction on Highlands Ranch Parkway will be maintained at all times. Additionally, access to the Highlands Ranch Senior Center main entrance at Ridgeglen Way will remain accessible throughout the duration of construction phase 2. The Mountainview Christian Church will be closed to access Monday through Friday but open for weekend services on Saturday and Sunday. Operations are weather and progress-dependent and subject to change.
