The Grigs Road Phase 2 project is the final phase of improvements to approximately one mile of Grigs Road, extending from the current roadway improvements near Daniels Park Road to the future entrance of Wildcat Regional Park. The goal of the project is to improve safety for everyone who uses the corridor while preserving access to nearby recreational amenities.
The proposed roadway would remain a two-lane road but would be reconstructed as a 24-foot-wide asphalt roadway with curb and gutter, improved drainage, and safety enhancements. The design also addresses the existing sharp curves and steep grades near the trailhead to improve visibility and provide a safer driving experience. A roundabout is proposed at the future entrance to Wildcat Regional Park to help manage traffic and improve access to the park.
