Kick-off concert: The award-winning Douglas County Fair & Rodeo is welcoming legendary country artist Trace Adkins to kick off the 2026 Fair & Rodeo at 7:30 p.m. Friday, July 24, 2026. Adkins, a staple of country music for three decades, is a multi-platinum hitmaker with 40 hit singles and stops in Castle Rock as part of his 30th anniversary tour. Tickets are available now.

Colorado Farm-to-Table: Dining becomes an experience for the senses at our Colorado Farm-to-Table brunch. Here, the true spirit of freshly grown and prepared food shines as you dine on a one-of-a-kind, locally sourced brunch in the perfect atmosphere for a weekend social event with friends and family. Join us from 10 a.m. to noon on Sunday, July 26. Plan a date, a gathering with friends or family outing for this once-a-year event!
Unbridled Rodeo: Some of our community’s stars shine at the Unbridled Rodeo that brings together people of all ages and abilities. The event, a partnership with Developmental Pathways, allows our neighbors with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities to experience roping, wrangling, and bull riding. Cheer them on at 10 a.m. Wednesday, July 29.
The 2026 Fair & Rodeo wouldn’t be complete without the great Western tradition of ProRodeo. Get up close as professional cowboys from every corner of the U.S. come together to rope, wrangle and hold on for 8 seconds. Tickets for the ProRodeo weekend, July 30 – Aug. 2, are on sale – get yours before they sell out.
