By order of Sheriff Darren Weekly, Stage 2 Fire Restrictions are in place for unincorporated areas of Douglas County. Ordinance No. O-012-004 restricts open burning, the use of fireworks, portable fireplaces/fire pits and campfires in the unincorporated areas of Douglas County.

Join us to learn more about the Douglas County Water Plan and help shape the future of water in our community. This open house is an opportunity to explore the planning process, review current findings, and share your ideas and priorities.
Meet with water experts, local water providers, and partner organizations to ask questions, discuss the challenges and opportunities facing Douglas County, and provide feedback that will help inform the plan. Your input will help guide future decisions about water supply, conservation, growth, and protecting local water resources.
