Project Update

Updated May 13, 2026

  • The lender has decided not to fund the Bannock Drive LID project; there is currently no funding for the project.
  • Douglas County will send out a new request for proposals to lenders this summer.
  • Once financing is secured, the construction of the project will be advertised for bidding. The project scheduled will be updated once financing is secured.
  • The ballot initiative to approve debt related to the 2023 Bannock Drive Local Improvement District (LID) was approved by the voters in the LID on November 5, 2024, with a debt cap of $10,360,000.

Description

The 2023 Bannock Drive LID consists of 40 lots in Perry Park. See the PPWSD Potential LIDs For Currently Unbuildable Parcels map and search for Group 7 for the specific location. This LID was created in August of 2024. Proposed improvements include roadways, storm sewer, sanitary sewer, water, and gas and electric mains.

Additional information about the LID process can be found at Local Improvement Districts (LIDs) – Douglas County.
