Postponed: Pine Drive and Ponderosa Drive closures
Due to recent community feedback, the upcoming project improvements and related closures on Ponderosa Drive, have been postponed until a revised plan is approved by Douglas County.
Douglas County and the Pine Drive/Pine Lane Improvements Project team are reevaluating closure plans to ensure the safest, most efficient strategy is in place both for residents and construction crews. Confirmed plans will be shared later, prior to starting work or related closures.
In addition, the Pine Drive closure, originally scheduled to start Monday, July 20, has been postponed.
We apologize for any confusion related to these closures, but safety of Douglas County residents is our top priority, and we want to ensure all options are considered before moving forward with these construction operations.
Thank you for your patience and flexibility as we work through this process.
Construction began on Monday, April 6. Construction hours will occur Monday through Friday, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday work may occur if approved by the Douglas County Engineer. There will be no construction work on major holidays.
